get the police report then get the other party's ins info; file the no-fault claim, get the claim number then all of the medical expenses should be billed directly to them; after your hubby's injury recovers to almost normal then deal with them for a final payout for your hubby's suffering....best of luck.  police report should be ready in a couple of days....
