Your statement is correct for old generations of Camry. But not

Toyota quality/reliability is not what used to be.  It's been in the down curve in the last few years. Not sure it has reversed that trend after the auto acceleration issue.

On the other hand, Hyundai quality has been improved quite a bit. It shows in the reviews and sales figures.  I'm not saying it has reached the point what Toyota used to be, but it's going that direction.
