you don't need to remove the intake to change the rear three plug. but you need to have two extention(3,6), spark plug socket.I just change the my camry v6 almost the same. Avalon have more room than camry. do the left most from the passenger side, the other two from the driver side, remove pcv valve and a groud cable from the passenger side. and the most important is patient.
