try to focus on this area(air intake). I remember there is a thick tubing attached to the section which connects the airfilter box and manifold. It was the most difficult one to remove and it's thick because it has a heat insulation as outer layer for shielding. Make sure the inside tubing is plugged in instead of just the outer shield tubing.
