丰田技术人员为了弥补加速失控的设计缺陷，另外给近年的烤肉加了发动机自动熄火的功能（我是听说的哦! - Don't kill the messenger）

这个新功能工作原理如下：你如果有最近三年的烤肉（或matrix），你正在高速上狂奔（同时有点飘得厉害，嗬嗬），然后你的烤肉的电控系统说，sorry buddy, I gotta shutdown the engine.

然后你就失去动力了。


"Toyota does not believe that the alleged defect creates an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety," Chris Santucci, Toyota's regulatory affairs manager, wrote in a letter to NHTSA.

嗬嗬，engine 自己 shutdown 还是"reasonable risk".
