Patriot is pretty much the same with some minor differences.

Patriot has a slightly higher clearance and is trail-rated. The right side view of Compass is not very good. I tend to agree Patriot looks better, especially for men.

Other than that, the engine and safety features are the same. I observed that about the same number of Compass and Patriot on the road though.
