Is it interference engine or not?

If it is, you need to stick w/ your manual. Otherwise, it will ruin your engine when the belt breaks.

If it is non-interference engine, you can postpone the replacement. If it breaks before you change it, it won't damage the engine, but you are stranded. It's more inconvenience and also could be dangerous in certain road condition.
