It isn't worth spending money on it

Just add power steering fluid to the reservoir as above posts said (check other fluids too) and keep driving until it dies.
You can buy a better used car like Malibu or so with less money, if you can't afford a new one. I do recommend American cars (Malibu and Fusion) for their safety, easy to fix and saving gas - overall economical.
