You are welcome. As mentioned in several other discussions yesterday, changing an alternator is not too big a deal. If turns out it is a bad alternator, check the price at Autozone. It should take about 1 hour of labor to put it on. Then you can get quote from several garages. Any garage can do the job. For this kind of problem, I would ask regular garage to do the job instead of dealer. Dealer's labor cost is too high, at least for me.
