"A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash," the company said in a statement.

“The recall will affect 2007-2010 model year Toyota Camry, 2005-2010 Toyota Avalon, 2004-2009 Toyota Prius, 2005-2010 Tacoma, 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra, 2007-2010 Lexus ES350 and 2006-2010 Lexus IS250 and IS350.”

上次开丰田死的那个巡警在无线电里和911的谈话明确表示油门卡死，情况紧急。从这次事故之后，丰田再也无法抵赖这个设计缺馅，但是，前些日子仍然说由于司机放两块脚垫，会导致油门踩下之后卡死，以此来推脱以前的多起油门卡死事故。这次终于承认自己的车有致命缺陷，但是仍然狡辩说是开极高速才有的问题，难道丰田不在德国卖么？。
