You can take the assembly out then open the cover

all those cd players or changers are pretty easy to open up and mess around. for your specific model, not sure if you need special keys to remove it from dash.

there is another thought though - cd players are out dated fashion. my car have it but i just don't bother to use it, what i am using the most is the mp3 player/transmitter, which produces cd-like sound quality and easy to save/update files to. i am using one like this: In-car mp3 player
