I need to make two choices on buying wrangler, hints/suggestions

------ AUTO vs MANUAL --
I found another used wrangler, much cleaner, i.e. current owner had not do any upgrade himself not did any offroad. I personally prefer this one for now

But it is a automatic transmission.

What's the cons/pros for auto transmission
Does it make body/suspesion lift harder to do

By just looking at the picture, I currently think
hard top may be more practical than soft top.
When using wrangler on road, maybe hardtop gives
better noise insulation and more water resistance power?
