I said "To check the leaking, you would need to have minimum pressure in the system so to allow the compressor to be kicked off."
After that I said what you quoted... So you know the presure is a precondition.

Secondly, you can change the clutch only without changing the comressor, but the cost of parts and labor will over-run that of replacing two pices as a whole.
