These are different issues. Your car must have a high compression ratio (>10). You bought Accord EX means you are looking for something that is more than necessary. High compression ratio implies high performance and high power for given engine volume. Of course it consumes more money. It is not the end yet. Look at your tires. If they are H or V rated, you gonna pay much more when change them.
