replace intake gasket

My car Buick Lesabre 2000.

Coolant leak at intake manifold.

It needs about $900 totally.

I don't want to do it because it is expensive. If the coolant leaks then I will add it and monitor the coolant frequentlly.

My question is taht okay for safety or other issues?
