yes---heater does not use electricity. It uses

coolant to deliver engine heat. If you don't turn your heat from "low" to "hot", that extra heat goes to your radiator and wasted. However, you do use electricity to run the fan to blow hot air inside. But there is no electricity heater in your car...if that is your questions..
