I guess you are in trouble. Beyond all the reasons, I would contact a Ford dealer and tell them what had happened, and then ask their opinion about the noise, if I were you.

I guess the brake caliper, cylinder, valves are more likely the causes than the struts and shocks. The Ford dealer can prove I am wrong.
