Yes, Your credit card company will fight for you. As a matter of fact, they won't want you to pay them until they close the case.(happend to me on a fraud purchase)
As far as what "extensive maintennace" means--that is tricky. If your manual says at 90k the car should get a tune-up, you use that gainst the repair shop. After all, there is no clear difination as what is a "maintenance". As service center, they SHOULD know, but you don't have to know. The point is, to show that they missed the critical serivce, but did bunch of un-needed stuff, such as coolant, windshield blades. They will have to fight your cridit card company... once your submit your claim, you don't have to do anything further.
