Please help with car buying!

I need a new car now. Torn between used volvo or new corolla/camry. I work for a small company that most people drive average cars including my boss. Economically, corolla is a good and safe choice but it's so boring that I do not even want to testdrive. I like Volvo's comfort and safety issue. We get a lot snow in winter.

I got tired after two weeks car searching. Please help!
