from Lexus GS300 2005 repair manual it says:
1.loose the crankshaft pulley bolt
2.turn the crankshaft pulley, and align its groove with timing mark "0" of the No.1 timing belt cover
3.check that the timing marks(TDC mark) of the camshaft timing pulleys are aligned with the timing marks of the No.4 timing belt cover. If not, turn the crankshaft 1 revolution (360deg, clockwise)
4.turn the crankshaft pulley 60deg counterclockwise to place the sub timing mark (60deg mark BTDC) on the crankshaft pulley at the timing mark "0" position of the No.1 timing belt cover.
5. check that dot marks (60deg mark BTDC) of the camshaft timing pulleys are aligned with the timing marks of the No.4 timing belt cover.

My understandings are below, are they correct?
1. there are two marks on the crank shaft pulley separated by 60deg,when they are on top the left one(line marked?) is timing mark and right one is sub timing mark(dot marked?); Similarly here are two each on the two camshaft pulleys;
2. 1st we need to turn the pulley clockwise such so that: the timing mark points to "0" of No.1 cover and two camshafts pulley TDC marks point to No.4 cover marks;
3. 2nd we need to turn the pulley counterclockwise by 60deg so that the sub timing mark points to "0" of No.1 cover, and the two camshaft pulleys' dot marks (BTDC marks) shall point to the marks on No.4 cover;
4. then in following steps we can't change the position, even we need to remove all three pulleys later before we remove timing belt. The questions are: a) it is hard to keep the positions unchanged; b)don't know why they ask to take off VVT-i pulley before removing timing belt, and remove idler and crankshaft timing pulley after that. How long can these parts run?
5. crankshaft pulley is "飞轮",camshafts are "凸轮"?
