Help, my car could not be started. Thanks first

my car is toyota camry 94,v6. Today I drived to a supermarket after shopping I could not start my car, when I turn the key I can hear the engine or starter is runing,then stop, try many times same thing. Only I can do is call AAA, the guy started my car only used the key without jump, I asked what's problem , he said may be the starter. But my car's starter is only one year old. this is already hapened second time, all occured at the supermarket. By the way, I did the tune up half year ago, I changed the sparkle plags,tranx fluid, air filter, fuel filter.

But at usually I drive the car, I find the engine sond is not smooth,sond little bit like a washing machine.

What is the problem could be?
