5-tire rotation

Does anyone know if there is any drawback to do 5-tire rotation instead of 4-tire rotation? My dealer said 5-tire rotation is risky even I have a full size spare tire. It causes the tire to fall apart easily since the roll direction is changed to the opposite.

Is this true? Thanks.
