Is LoJack worthwile to buy?

Just bought a 2007 Honda CR-V EX in cash, dealer highly recommended LoJack for $995 plus tax. Do you think it worths the money? Can I reduce the insurance coverage for the theft part if I buy Lojack? Also,I may need to sell this CR-V in a few years. Thank you.
