To be honest with you, both cars had bad reputation for reliability, FORD=found on road dead, etc.
But anyways, why not get a car with good track record over the years like Civic or Corolla if you do not have prob with Jap cars. Besides, the ford corp has the new strategy of higher price with less sales after they fired thousands of works last year, I do think it is worthy to buy a new Ford or Mazda now (does ford own mazda production line?) Although I owned 2 ford cars before, I would not recommend if you could spend a little more money.
