no matter which way you lost the engine oil, there are three possible solutions IMHO: 1) don't do anything; 2) add some leaking stoper solution to engine oil which is quite effective in many cases; 3)find where is the leak and fix it yourself or send it a shop. For your car, I would try 2) first.
