some ford car has throttle that doesn't need to clean because there a special coat on the throttle valve to keep the valve smoothly turning and no stick. some people don't know this and use cleaner to wash the coated stuff away. i don't know what kind car you have and usually after engine runs there a little bit oil will reach to the valve through intake manifold that why you will feel the cable loose and easy to depress it down. hope this help.
