dealer lied to me in this case.the fact is nobody authorize him to fix my car.the guy from my insurance company or my wife didn't do it.because he made mistake,he should admit.
YOU CAN NOT JUST CALL IT LIE. YOU NEED TO PROOF THEY LIED TO YOU. HOW DO YOU PROOF YOUR WIFE DID NOT TELL THEM TO GO?
IF THEY ADMITTED THERE WERE MISUNDERSTANDING DURING THE COMMUNICATION. BUT THE FACT IS THAT THYE FIXED YOUR CAR. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
secondly,i think his price isn't reasonable for me.in fact before i fix it i want to compare his price with the price in other repair shops.but he fixed it without my permission,i lose this right.i have no chance to know what it will cost in other shops.i want to negotiate and get the lower price.
THERE IS A BOOK TELLS HOW MANY HOURS NEED TO CHARGE ON EACH REPAIR. PART COST IS STANDARD. DURING THE DIAGNOSIS, THEY DISCOVERED THE DANGEROUS PROBLEM ADN KEPT YOU SAFE. EVEN THEY DO NOT REPAIR FOR YOU. THEY WOULD STILL CHARGE YOU DIAGNOSTIC FEE. LAST TIME, WHEN I WAS AT BMW DEALER, IT COSTS $95 FOR JUST PLUG COMPUTER TO MY CAR.
YOU CAN EASILY FIND OUT THE REPAIR COST FROM OTHER SHOP BY SHOWING THEM WHAT THIS DEALER HAVE DONE. OTHER SHOP MAY HAVE LOWER LABOR CHARGE.
but if he still lie to me and don't want to negotiate it with me,i will call the cop and battle with him.
PLEASE CALL THE COP AND HAIR A LAWER. AND LET US KNOW WHAT THEIR SUGGESTION. I CAN NOT FIND FROM YOUR POST WHAT YOU WANT TO NEGOTIATE FOR.
REMEMBER, DEALER HANDLE THIS KIND OF PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME.
