看来造车的卖车的对 drive-by-wire 宣传的不够

现在不少车的油门刹车方向盘点火换档都不是机械的了，转钥匙熄火（没有钥匙了），换空档对车载计算机失效的车是无济于事了。

I can't believe the abject ignorance and complete lack of intelligence of the posters here. The ES300 HAS A PUSHBUTTON IGNITION. you CAN"T turn it off. THE GEARBOX IS 100% ELECTRONIC. If the computer locks up, changing gears WILL NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT no matter what you do. I truly can't believe the PATHETIC IGNORANCE shown by posters here.
