Mystery of Mercedes, keys and missing driverAugust 3, 2009 - 4:15PM

Police are concerned about a woman missing for more than two weeks after her blue Mercedes Benz was found unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

Wei Chen, 39, has not been seen since she left her home in Church Street, Lidcombe, in Sydney's west on Wednesday, July 15.

Two days later police found Ms Chen's car outside a property on Railway Parade, Belmore, in the city's south west after receiving reports of a dumped car.

"Police hold serious concerns for Ms Chen's welfare and are appealing for anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them," NSW police said in a statement.

Ms Chen is described as being Asian in appearance, thin build, fair complexion with long straight black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Wei Chen's whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
