问关于留澳念大学的事情

有一亲戚，在国内的成绩不够上高中和大学的，留过级。家里送他到澳大利亚念语言学校，然后计划上高中，大学。他家里人说他在澳学习很好，又得奖又得A的，也适应那里的生活，反正都是好话。最近又说不想上那里的高中，想上大学预科，让我了解美国大学预科的情况，难道要来美国上大学？我想问问他要在澳大利亚上完大学留在那里工作生活半身份容易吗？大学预科是什么概念？
家里大把钱供着，一年回２次国，就是花钱的主儿。这样的孩子在澳大利亚有没有前途？
