问个简单的IT问题

只有一台笔记本电脑，家里可以设置成无线上网么？现在有telstra的固定网线，想装个无线路邮器。，这样就可以抱着电脑到处走了。

可是好像需要一个把路由装到一个电脑上才能用是吗？
