could any one give me an idea?

my workmate's father passed away and have a funeral tomorrow. she gave me about a month lift when i had a car accident before. I want to give her some thing or money to her. but I don't know what the Aussie's custom is. who could tell me if it is all right? in a such hurry, I don't have time to go out to buy sth. Thanks in advance.
