谌北新，男，1932年生于北京，祖籍江西南昌。1953年毕业于中央美术学院绘画系，1957年毕业于中央美院马克西莫夫油画训练班。曾任西安美术学院油画系主任、教授，西安美术学院研究院副院长，中国油画学会常务理事，陕西油画学会会长及俄罗斯列宾美术学院荣誉教授等职。在北京、西安、台湾、香港和法国、美国等地举办过多次画展，作品被中国美术馆，中央美院美术馆，香港亚洲艺术基金会等机构和个人收藏。
Mr. Shen Bei-Xin was Born in 1932, whose original family home is in Nanchang, JiangXi Province. He graduated from the Painting Department of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1953 and Максимов.K.M Oil Painting Training Class in 1957. He served as director of the Oil Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Professor, Vice President of Research Institute of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Standing Director of China Oil Painting Society, chairman of Shaanxi Oil Painting Society and Honorary Professor of Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Russia. There were several art exhibitions for his works held in Beijing, Xi'an, Taiwan, Hong Kong, France, and U.S. The works have been collected by such organizations as National Art Museum of China, Art Museum of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Hong Kong Asian Art Foundation and as personal collection.
