西门羡慕妒忌恨！又不甘心失败，上巴洛克啦！上一把英国著名提琴制作家 Rechard Duke 在 1747 年在伦敦制作的大提琴。尽管不是书画，琴类也是可以归入艺术品的。说是巴洛克乐器，请查巴洛克时期最伟大的两位作曲家巴赫和亨德尔。。。。。（引自Wikipedia）

再看英国提琴制作家 Rechard Duke：

如果这把琴真是1747年做出来的，一定来得及给巴赫和亨德尔去演奏。
17XX年的小提琴还好找，大提琴就不容易了。主要是因为大提琴太狼糠，极容易损坏。要经历欧洲多次大战，这把琴能够存在下来，也算不易。是不是 Duke 亲手做的不知道，但具备巴洛克时期乐器的所有特征：
1. 尺寸不像后来定型的 Antonio Stradivari 和 Domenico Montagnana 的大提琴，此琴琴身显然窄些，和许多早期大提琴的尺寸相仿；
2. 琴颈处可明显看出拼接痕迹。是巴洛克乐器在 1850 左右 Modernize 运动改装较长琴颈的明显证据。
尽管该琴经过多次修理，但最大的好处是音色浑厚，音量宏大，居然还带几分野性。足以满足大提琴独奏家舞台表演和录音的要求。。。
