畫不上春晚

畫不上春晚 Beijing TV Spring Fest. Gala featured paintings and Li Duo's calligraphy this year. It did not happen in CCTV, or in "the East is Red", which incl. music, dance, language, plus stage art only, since fine arts has different tone and channel, maybe artist-director relation issue. Both the director and the audience have no taste to it. Another reason is that writers are not familiar with art and artists, otherwise a new programme could be created.
In the US, media rarely give fine arts a steady seat.
