提及民主党的建议,最低购枪年龄21岁,不知道这回能否进一步。
House Democrats have put forward a package of bills that includes raising the minimum age to buy semi-automatic rifles from 18 to 21, banning high-capacity ammunition magazines, and bar the sale of "ghost gun" kits without background checks. But such measures are long-shots to find bipartisan support in the evenly divided Senate.
A bipartisan group of senators have a "framework" for a bill, a source told NBC News, as they seek a compromise that could be palatable to some Republicans historically resistance to strengthening gun laws.
The group includes Democratic Sens. Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico and Republican Sens. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, Susan Collins of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana.
