立陶宛外交部长发言人今天告诉中央社,立陶宛政府欢迎台湾设立“台湾代表处”,此一决定“坚定不移”。针对立陶宛总统瑙塞达(Gitanas Nauseda)的说法,以及外交部是否考虑变更台湾代表处名称,立陶宛外交部长蓝斯柏吉斯(Gabrielius Landsbergis)的发言人库列绪叶内(Vytaut? Šmai?yt?-Kuliešien?)今天回复中央社询问称,此决定坚定不移。
据库列绪叶内表示,立陶宛政府期待与台湾发展商务、科学、技术与文化关系;立陶宛与台湾人民因共享价值观及奠基于创新的开放有活力社会而亲近,立陶宛政府期待双边人民有更多接触。她指出,支持民主与人权等普世价值是现任执政联盟订定协议的一部分,也是政府施政规划的重要内涵。
针对立陶宛总统瑙塞达4日在广播节目中表示:他不认为台湾开设代表处是个错误,而是“正名”这件事他没被咨询过。(注:立陶宛外长已对该说法直截了当地作出反驳)瑙塞达的发言被疑为是府院之争的政治操作。瑙塞达与总理席莫尼特(Ingrida Šimonyt?)、甚至外长蓝斯柏吉斯(Gabrielius Landsbergis)传出关系紧张、沟通不良,并非最近才发生的事,但中国与台湾议题确实有“增添火花”的作用。瑙塞达与席莫尼特在2019年总统大选曾是竞争对手;席莫尼特虽未加入政党,但一向与蓝斯柏吉斯担任主席的“祖国联盟-基督教民主党”(Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats)亲近。
立陶宛国会议长希米利特(Viktorija ?milyt?-Nielsen)也发言表示不认为这是个错误,并质疑瑙塞达为何等到中国施加政经压力后才批评这项决策,她不同意瑙塞达昨天对政府外交政策的批评。
未曾接获立国外交部“改名”要求的台湾首任驻立陶宛代表黄钧耀五日在线上记者会宣布,台湾将对立陶宛的产业投资两亿美元并增强双边贸易关系。
黄钧耀表示,最优先投资顺序是半导体、激光和生物科技。黄钧耀还说,台湾将加速批准立陶宛的乳制品和谷物出口到台湾的程序,并寻求让立陶宛的企业加入台湾的供应链。
