Pfizer announced that it has started dosing its antiviral pill to Covid positive non hospitalized patients in India. To date only Giles’s Remdesivir administered intravenously and costs 2k per treatment approved as anti viral in US. This is game changer given addressable market (positive coronavirus regardless of vaccination status….before or during hospitalization)…..this has implications well beyond pandemic including viral pneumonia and other virus outbreaks…..MASSIVE CATALYST if it works.
