Pfizer to Supply an Additional 100 Million Doses of Covid-19 Vaccine to U.S.
• (PFE) (ticker: PFE) has reached a deal with the U.S. government to provide an additional 100 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine it developed with Germany’s (BNTX) (BNTX), the companies said Wednesday. “This new federal purchase can give Americans even more confidence that we will have enough supply to vaccinate every American who wants it by June 2021,” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said in a statement. The U.S. has previously existing agreements to buy 100 million vaccine doses from both Pfizer and (MRNA) (MRNA).
