‘Crazy Rich Asians’ flops in China

Having made $174 million in North America, “Crazy Rich Asians” will be lucky to make $1 million on its first weekend in China, where it just opened. Chinese viewers may have already watched the film abroad or pirated it, Variety reported, and others saw stereotypes in the story instead of Asian representation.
