Cohen is desperate to reduce his prison term. No matter what Cohen says at this point, it doesn’t matter, because he’s proven to be a pathological liar willing to say anything to get what he wants. He is NOT a credible witness, no matter how hard Mueller tries to make him into one.

So what if it did involve Trump? It's not illegal to do business in Russia. And Cohen is an admitted and proven liar.
Worthless as a witness.
