Clinton Should Quit Her Presidential Campaign Now
We, as a country, are defined by the U.S. Constitution, which stated that the president shall appoint officials, including the Attorney General and director of the FBI, who all work at her pleasure.
Now, with an active criminal investigation ongoing, when Clinton is elected, there is an immediate constitutional crisis, i.e., Clinton is about to nominate the group of officials including the Attorney General and director of the FBI who would be responsible for investigating their boss.
Someone has suggested that Obama could immediately pardon all Clinton's wrongdoings, but as he has openly vouched for Comey's actions earlier today, it is not likely.
Of course, Clinton, after taking over the presidency, could immediately pardon herself, but that is fundamentally troubling to the nation, to have a criminal as the head of the government, responsible for the enforcement of the law, and pardoning all crimes of her own.
Putting all that together, for the first time since the foundation of the United States of America, the nation would face a constitutional crisis if Clinton is elected.
As she pardons herself for all criminal activities and direct the law enforcement to avoid investigating any new allegations against her, the Clinton Foundation, her very problematic crowd (remember "friends of Bill"? looking forward to "friends of Bill" 2.0 called "friends of Hillary"?), Bill Clinton, and who knows who and what else, the question left is whether we are still a nation under the rule of law.
Amazingly, even now, Clinton is not committing to shutting down the Clinton Foundation if she is elected president. It this is not delusional, I don't know what it is.
One would ask, for Clinton, so delusional, what is next step after she is elected president? Immediately launch a witch-hunt against Trump? Against anyone who have criticized her? Initiating a lot of tax auctions against all those who do not praise her?
In the letter to Congress today, the assistant attorney General Peter J. Kadzik from the Department of Justice said that it “will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible.”
However, in a closer examination, Kadzik turned out to be a friend of Podesta. On the very day after Hillary Clinton's Benghazi testimony, Kadzik had a dinner with Podesta.
According to WikiLeak emails, several months after that dinner, Kadzik dined at Podesta's home.
Also, according to WikiLeak, Kadzik's son asked Podesta for a job at the Clinton campaign.
WikiLeak emails also show that Kadzik and Podesta are Georgetown Law School classmates. Their relation has been close as they have discussed plans to celebrate Podesta's birthday.
Trump is calling to drain the swamp of Washington, which is not hesitating even today to put up more evidence of the swamp. One may ask: what makes them so reckless?
In the meantime, the Clinton campaign machine is adopting the tactics of blaming the cops for the crime, as the Big Three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) attacked Comey 3-to-1 over reporting Clinton’s crimes, and Clinton explained to her supporters: “if [the FBI is] going to be sending this kind of letter that is ONLY going originally to REPUBLICAN members of the House, that they need to share whatever facts they claim to have with the American people.” She knew that the letter was customarily sent to the leader of both parties (committee chairs and ranking members).
Now, she has to resort to lying to shore up her support. Since she has obviously run out of girls to smear Trump, we expect tactics much lower than this in the coming days.
It is clear that the only graceful way for Clinton to end this mess is not to double down, but to quit the campaign. If not for the country, she may be able to save some of Bill Clinton's legacy.
Hillary, quit!
Quit now!
