Former Mexican President Vicente Fox backtracks on attack on Donald Trump with groveling apology

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox — who earlier this year exclaimed he would “not pay” for what he called Donald Trump's “f-----g wall” along the southern border — apologized Thursday to the presumptive GOP front-runner and even invited him to visit his home country.

The hope, Fox said, was that Trump would see what Mexico “is all about.”
“If I offended you, I'm sorry,” Fox said in an interview with conservative news outlet Breitbart, referring to the big-mouthed billionaire. “But what about the other way around?”
“I apologize. Forgiveness is one of the greatest qualities that human beings have, is the quality of a compassionate leader. You have to be humble. You have to be compassionate. You have to love thy neighbor,” he groveled, before offering some advice to the real-estate mogul and asking to him to visit Mexico.
