the UNANIMOUS vote of 12 UNRELATED jurors who believed, BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT, that the officer was reckless. They believed that the facts presented by the prosecution, not that presented by the defendent, were likely to be true. So the jurors only determined which side's stated facts are more believable. The jury had no role in deciding what the punishment should be.
If there are things to blame here, the first thing is probably whether the defense has done a good job to convince at least one juror into believing the defendent's story.
So, what to 纠正? To force a juror to change his/her belief of what actually happened??
