H13060 Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra Grades: 10,11,12 5 Credits A.P. Weighting
Prerequisite: Physics and a minimum grade of 80% in AP Calculus BC or AB or a score of at least a 4 on the AP Calculus AB or BC exams.
This course, based on two college-level courses, is open to students who have completed a year of science and calculus. It will benefit any student who wants to study mathematics beyond calculus. The course will cover the theory (including proofs) and applications of Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra with an emphasis on developing functional knowledge of the subject. Topics will include three-dimensional analytic geometry, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, vector calculus, line integrals, systems of linear equations, matrices, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors
