put starting /ending dates 1/1/2011 -- dec 2011, e-trade will give you exact gain/loss for closed positions. "about flat" does not work with IRA, haha.Also if you have position that is not closed, there is no tax cosequences, so you total balance being flat may not work if you have open position that is way in the money or way our of money.
