Based on your answer, to keep this applicaiton valid, working part time might or might not be necessary depending upon USCIS's request of working approvement RFE, right? if true, one still needs to be on full time working status, from my understanding.

-Correct, but if you still work for the I-140 sponsor, normally USCIS may not check whethewr you work full-time or part-time job, and thus they may not send you RFE for your employmentstatus. So, practically it should be fine to do the part job if you have to do it.
