My hu*****and went back to China three weeks ago. He was holding an AP as he left the U.S. Now, his I-485 is approved (PD 5/17/2008; RD1/5/2012) and the GC is received. Here are my questions:
Can he still use his AP to get back to the U.S.?

Per your answers to a friend asking questions online, my hu*****and should have brought his AP AND his I-485 receipt with him as he left the U.S. However, he only brought his AP card. Could this be a problem?

if so, what should I do? mail him the receipt or the CG?
-If it still has enough time for him to receive the green card inn China, you may just send the green card to him. Otherwise, he can just use the AP to enter US and tell the CBP officer at the port of entry that his green card was approved during his travel in China.
