Birth control should be a long term policy, otherwise more pressures will arise because of shortage of natural resources.The issue is how to raise overall quality of population and to improve eduation of new generation. Competition is so severe that requires well-eduated or trained work forces in all aspects of economy.

Simply giving up the birth control policy is not a wise option China likes to adopt, although China like other western countries is facing a problem of aging society, and lack of work-forces in some areas.
