Mao said there was difference between Deng and Liu. How so? Mao didn't specify other than saying Deng assisted Liu Bocheng during the war. Mao possibly was satisfied with Deng's efforts and input into 9 crtique articles. It is still a mystery why Mao Kept Deng in the Party after Deng's downfall no. 3.
